Discount Specialty Sports has a number of sponsorship packages available for dedicated teams of all skill levels. These packages include various products from national paintball suppliers such as Eclipse, ETek, Draxxus, Proto, Dye, Redz, and WDP (Angel). The typical package includes pants, jersey, gloves, gear bags, team name printed on jersey along with the Discount Specialty Sports logo. Some packages also include substantially reduced prices on markers as well. None of the packages we have available are totally free, but the price is greatly reduced.
These sponsorships are available to all types of teams. The purpose of this program is to strengthen paintball in the area. We do not care what field you play at or what level of play you participate in. You just need to be dedicated to getting better and promoting the sport of paintball.
What we will require from your team:
Your team must be serious about paintball
You need to have scheduled practices
Your team must have a “code of conduct” agreement that all team members sign
(DSS can help you with this, and we would like a copy of your team document prior to execution of your sponsorship)
Your team will need to participate in at least 5 of 8 Discount Specialty Sports sanctioned tournaments during the 2007 playing season. These tournaments will be held at DSS partner fields and does include the 2007 Warped series.
Support the store that supports you. Discount Specialty Sports has a large number of products, paintball related and non paintball related that your team members will most likely need to purchase during the year. We require those purchases to be made at our store. Basically if we sell it, you need to buy it from us.
No conflicting sponsorships. If your team already has a sponsorship from a company that competes with one of our sponsor packages, you can’t have it. An example of that is if your team has a sponsorship from a paint company already, you will not be able to get the Draxxus package.

Assistance in the organization of your team (code of conduct, practice schedules, team finances, etc.). This is an area that most teams fail in. Organization is essential to the success of any team. We have a program that has worked very well for the DSS paintball organization and we will share that with you.
Team name and Discount Specialty Sports logos on your jerseys (Additional sponsor logos can be added at an additional cost to you)
A dedicated team location on the NebraskaPaintBall.com web site forums
Free participation in DSS clinics to help improve your skills (paint and field fees are still your responsibility)
The chance to take your paintball experience to what ever level you like
Special paint prices at national PSP events
In addition to the above items, a paint sponsorship may also be available. Paint sponsorships are based on Discount Specialty Sports opinion of your dedication level and won’t be offered until mid season.
Your dedication during the 2007 season will greatly affect your sponsorship opportunities for the 2008 season.
What you need to do to apply:
Send a team resume. This needs to include your team name, how long the team has been around, your home field, any sponsorship that you already have, what, if any, events/tournaments your team has played, and what level your team participates at.
Team roster which should include each player on the team, how long they have been playing, what type of gear they use such as markers, tanks, etc., what their current player status is if any, contact information and parents name if the player is less than 18.
Practice schedule including where you practice
A team reference. This could come from your home field, or someone involved with your team that is not a player.
